New Fuji X-T2 Images Leak!
New images of the rumored replacement for the excellent Fuji X-T1 have hit the internet today via Fuji Rumors. The pictures show a top down and top 3/4 views of what is said to be the Fuji X-T2. The design language is of course familiar, with a plethora of chunky physical controls identifying the unit as a member of the X-T line, but there are a few changes of note from the X-T1. Firstly the ISO dial now goes as high as 12800, as opposed to the high of 6400 on the older camera. Secondly the exposure compensation dial gains a ‘C’ position, which is rumored to allow compensation of +/- 5 stops. The third notable difference between the 2 cameras is the absence of the dedicated video button on the X-T2, a strange omission on a camera rumored to shoot 4K video.
It will be very interesting to see how this camera measures up to the likes of the X-Pro2 in terms of overall performance. The X-T2 is rumored to be hitting the streets in June, so watch this space for more info as it becomes available.
