New Leica, Canon and Olympus Cameras Registered With Indonesian Telecommunication Agency
Leica, Canon and Olympus have each recently had new cameras registered with the Indonesian Telecommunication Agency. The registration process is a legal requirement within Indonesia for manufacturers wishing to retail electronics with onboard radio equipment. Each of the three newly registered cameras must therefore feature either built-in Wi-Fi or GPS. It is difficult to pin down exactly which models each of these cameras could be, but there have of course been whisperings that the Canon may well be the EOS 5D Mark IV. Unfortunately we can only really wait and see, but we can at least now expect releases form the three manufacturers in the not too distant future.
