Is This One of the New Canon Tilt-Shift Lenses?
There is an image doing the rounds today which may be the first ‘in the wild’ sighting of one of the three new Canon tilt-shift lenses that is expected to be announced at the end of this month. The lenses are expected to arrive alongside the EF 85mm f/1.4L IS and the EOS M10 replacement, currently referred to as the EOS M20. It seems likely that two of the new lenses will be replacements for the the ageing TS-E 45mm f/2.8 and TS-E 90mm f/2.8 which were released way back in 1991, but it is unclear which one we may be seeing in the above image. Whatever it is, it is clear Canon don’t want anyone to know about it as evidenced by the sticky tape that appears to be covering the top right of the camera!
