The firm have recently patented an EF 17-35MM F/4-5.6 IS STM which will be an exciting prospect for those who can’t stretch to the ‘full-fat’ EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM. It is in fact the first time such a zoom will be available outside the L family for Canons EF mount line up, which is very exciting:
