The latest of many mirrorless patents to emerge from the Canon camp this year depicts an EF-M 16-50mm F/3.5-5.6 for APS-C format EOS-M cameras. The spec fits neatly into the “kit lens” genre, so perhaps we may see this lens packaged with a new APS-C EOS-M camera later this year. 5D Mark IV Could Feature CFast 2.0 and SDXC UHS-II.

Canonrumors are reporting that the forthcoming EOS 5D Mark IV may feature both CFast 2.0 and SDXC UHS-II slots. Given that we are expecting the 5D IV to be able to capture 4k, CFast 2.0 makes a lot of sense. Giving shooters an SDXC slot along side the CFast slot is a shrewd move by Canon as it will give shooters who already have a lot of SD cards in their kit the ability to continue using them. The upgrade to SDXC USH-II will also provide a decent speed hike over the 5D Mark...
