Nikon Announces Development Of D5 Camera
Today Nikon has made one of the most pointless camera announcements I’ve ever come across. Brace yourselves… they’re working on a D5.
Wow!!! Didn’t see that one coming. Ya know… after the D2, D3, D4… who’d have thought that they were working on a D5? Wonders never cease.
Nikon aren’t the first people to put out a development announcement, but usually when these things come out, there’s at least a couple of shreds of information, or maybe a photo to go with it. Not this time! All we know about the D5 is that it’s a camera. Were Nikon really that desperate for column inches that they had to throw this blog bait out there? (yeah, yeah I know I’m writing about it)
2016 is an Olympic year and we already know the Canon 1DX Mark II will be launched head to head with a D5. This isn’t news.
Oh and there will be an SB-5000 speedlight as well.
