Fujifilm X-T2 Preview Unit Appears For Sale on Ebay.
We reported yesterday on a leak of new images of the yet to be announces successor to the Fuji X-T1, the Fujifilm X-T2, and in a strange turn of events the very unit featured in the leaked pictures has appeared for sale on Ebay. The suspicion seems to be that this is a stolen preview unit which makes sense as anyone who was intentionally given a unit would presumably have to sign a pretty comprehensive secrecy contract, which I am quite sure would not allow resale of the unit! So far we know that the X-T2 will feature increased ISO range up to 12800, a ‘C’ exposure compensation mode which will allow +/- 5 stops of compensation, and will shoot 4k video. Interestingly the first 2 of these features also appear on the X-Pro2, which makes a lot of sense; Whereas the original X-T1 and the X-Pro1 were released nearly 2 years apart the X-pro2 and the X-T2 look set to land within a much closer timeframe, it makes sense therefore that the feature set of the 2 cameras will remain similar. The X-T2 is rumored to arrive in June so watch this space.
