Will the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Have a 32 Megapixel Sensor?
The guys over at canonrumors are reporting a Canon rep has let slip that the forthcoming, and much talked about EOS 5D Mark IV will feature a 32 megapixel sensor and a 24 megapixel mode. The rumor should be taken with a grain of salt, but it is promising to hear that the 5D Mark IV will feature a significant bump in sensor resolution over the 5D Mark III‘s 22.3 megapixels . The 24 megapixel mode which will presumably be the cameras MRAW setting, should allow shooters to achieve longer continuous shooting times, whilst still gaining an increase in resolution over the 5D Mark III. The 5D Mark IV is expected to be announced in August this year, and will hopefully be shipping as soon as September, watch this space.
