Hasselblad X1D-50C Shipping Delayed Until August 30th
Shipping of Hasselblad’s new X1D-50c, the world’s first mirrorless medium format camera has reportedly been delayed until the end of August. The X1D-50c was originally expected to ship earlier in August, but retailers have pushed shipping dates back.
Speculation on why this has happened suggests that either Hasselblad may have encountered more pre-release bugs than expected, or that the delay is a result of Sony production issues related to the Kumamoto earthquake.
Whatever the reason, early adopters are going to have to wait a little longer to get their hands on their beautiful new cameras!
