Canon Full Frame Mirrorless Camera (EOS M1?) to Use New Sensor
The latest news on Canon’s first full frame mirrorless camera, which some are calling the EOS M1, is that it will not use the sensor from either the EOS 6D Mark II or EOS 5D Mark IV. Details leaked from an internal Canon presentation instead suggest that the camera will use a new CMOS sensor specifically designed for the new camera.
Canon’s first foray into the world of full frame mirrorless is expected to arrive in time for Phokokina 2018, so expect things to really hot up in August next year!
