Blackmagic Design Announce 4K Pocket Cinema Camera

Blackmagic have announced a pocket 4K cinema camera aimed squarley at the likes of the Panasonic GH5. Literally named the ‘Pocket Cimena Camera‘ the new unit is built around a 4/3 sensor that shoots native DCI 4k at 60 fps.

The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera will cost just $1,295 which could be seen as somewhat of a bargain when line dup to the competition although this is a cinema camera through and through, there is little in the way of still shooting focused functionality here.
